Safe Driving and Transport Specialist

Scope
The Safe Driving and Transport Specialist certification scheme pertains to professionals employed by regional, national, or international road transport companies; industrial facilities; small manufacturing units with proprietary truck fleets; logistics companies; bus rental businesses with drivers; tourism enterprises operating their own buses; and companies involved in intercity or urban passenger transport. These specialists possess fundamental knowledge of all essential processes in the transportation chain for goods and passengers, as well as the specific vehicles and mechanical equipment required for the safe loading, transport, and unloading of goods. They are also trained in all procedures related to the safe boarding, transportation, and disembarkation of passengers at their destination, in accordance with current national and EU legislation. Furthermore, they may participate in conducting regular inspections of vehicles and related equipment.
